Moog Medical Devices Group specializes in designing, manufacturing, and distributing industry-leading enteral feeding and infusion pumps. Through substantial investment in research and development and leveraging our extensive expertise, we meticulously design and develop advanced infusion systems that enhance medication safety, optimize application performance, and effectively reduce medical expenses.
We are seeking an Operations Project Manager. You will work in an onsite or hybrid role in Salt Lake City, UT and report to the Moog Medical Site Director. You will be responsible for coordinating and driving cross-functional projects to ensure customer commitments are achieved on time and in accordance with quality and business requirements. You will work across multiple departments to establish clear project plans, align priorities, coordinate interdependent activities, identify risks and constraints, and ensure teams remain on schedule.
To be considered for the Operations Project Manager role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical project management in a regulated industry.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, particularly medical device manufacturing.
- Experience coordinating projects involving Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and/or Service.
- Formal project management training or certification such as PMP.
- Experience with project scheduling tools such as Sciforma, MS Project, JIRA.
- Experience using data and project metrics to identify schedule risk and drive decision-making.
As an Operations Project Manager, you will:
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain cross-functional project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Translate customer requirements and committed delivery dates into actionable internal project timelines.
- Coordinate activities across departments to ensure tasks are completed in the appropriate sequence and on schedule.
- Establish clear ownership and due dates for project actions and actively follow up to ensure commitments are met.
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, regular project reviews, and schedule/status meetings.
- Maintain visibility of critical-path activities and focus teams on the actions necessary to meet customer commitments.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the central point of coordination between all relevant departments
- Ensure dependencies between departments are clearly understood and appropriately sequenced.
- Facilitate resolution when competing priorities, resource constraints, or conflicting requirements impact project schedules.
- Escalate issues requiring leadership decisions in a timely manner, with clear options and recommendations.
Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify project risks, constraints, and potential schedule delays.
- Work with department managers to establish mitigation and recovery plans.
- Maintain project risk, issue, and action logs.
- Escalate risks proactively.
Communication & Customer Commitment
- Provide concise, reliable updates regarding project health, schedule adherence, risks, and upcoming milestones.
- Establish a consistent project status reporting process that provides leadership project status, risk, escalations, etc.
- Partner with customer-facing teams to ensure internal execution plans remain aligned with customer expectations and commitments.
Continuous Improvement
- Develop and improve standardized project management practices, tools, templates, and reporting.
- Identify recurring causes of project delays and partner with functional leaders to improve underlying processes.
- Capture lessons learned and incorporate them into future project planning.
- Help strengthen a culture of ownership, accountability, proactive problem solving, and commitment to schedule.

Salary Range Transparency:
Salt Lake City, UT $105,000.00–$130,000.00 AnnuallySalary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
