In addition to routine eye care, the practice specializes in diagnosing and managing medical eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and co-management of cataracts. To help support ongoing practice growth, Randolph County Eye Care is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of eight staff members. The practice ensures optimal eye health through the industry’s most advanced technology and utilizes state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology including, Wide Angle Fundus Camera, OCT, AdaptDX Pro Dark Adaptation, Visual Fields (Humphrey, FDT), Ocular Response Analyzer (NCT), and iCare Tonometer. The Opticians work closely with the patients to help select proper frames for cosmetic, lifestyle, and vision needs—plus, an on-site lens lab is available to serve customers conveniently. About the Optometrist Opening Randolph County Eye Care is seeking an Optometrist dedicated to a career of helping individuals see to their fullest while providing exceptional patient care. You’ll practice full-scope optometry, treat and manage ocular diseases, educate patients about ocular health, determine treatment plans and recommend vision-enhancing products. You’ll have the opportunity to fully utilize your optometry skills and care for special populations and a large patient base requiring medical optometry—you’ll care for 15 to 20 patients daily. The position is part-time or full-time; the practice is closed on weekends.
