Orchestrade Developer

I'm working with a leading alternative investment firm that is looking to hire a Senior Orchestrade Developer to help implement, customize, integrate, and operate Orchestrade across their investment and post-trade platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with investment, operations, risk, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable technology for trading, portfolio management, valuation, risk, and post-trade processing.

What the role involves

• Own the build-out of Orchestrade customisations and integrations end-to-end, coding in C#/.NET against the Orchestrade Native SDK
• Set up and maintain core Orchestrade configuration — funds, portfolios, counterparties, instruments, settlement details, permissions, and reference data
• Connect Orchestrade to the wider trading ecosystem: market data feeds, prime broker links, fund admin systems, and downstream reporting
• Handle the full trade event lifecycle in code — bookings, amendments, cancellations, novations, exercises, and corporate action processing
• Keep the Azure-hosted platform running smoothly, covering PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, SFTP, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery
• Take a lead role across QA cycles, UAT, go-lives, and troubleshooting production issues, while guiding junior team members

What they're looking for

• Around 8+ years building enterprise-grade software, integrations, or distributed systems
• Deep, hands-on C#/.NET development background
• Direct experience configuring or extending Orchestrade — via the Native SDK, plugins, or hands-on implementation work
• Comfortable with API design, messaging/event-driven patterns, and async programming
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database
• Track record with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and supporting live systems
