Position Overview SportsMED is actively seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon to join our thriving team in Huntsville, Alabama. Team includes 25 physicians and 24 advanced practice providers , including 4 fellowship-trained spine surgeons . Integrated on-site services for streamlined care: MRI Physical & Occupational Therapy DME Orthotics & Prosthetics Urgent Care & Injection Therapy Utilizes ModMed EMR system for efficient documentation. New, state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center opening in early 2027 , staffed with experienced spine personnel. Spine Surgery Role Highlights Clinical Focus: Primarily degenerative spine cases, with a typical surgical case mix of 60% lumbar / 40% cervical. Schedule: Balanced workload with 2.5 clinic days and 2.5 OR days per week.
