Orthopedics Surgeon (Trauma Surgeon)

Overview Bassett Healthcare Network , in Central New York, is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our staff. Salary Range: $588,390 - $690,684 Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000 Location: Cooperstown, NY Job Description & Responsibilities Fellowship training encouraged but not a requirement. This surgeon would have access to an OR for urgent and “cold trauma’ cases in a room reserved for emergent surgery. There would also be time allotted for elective trauma reconstructive practice. There are separate call schedules for Spine and Hand. The practice covers one centrally located ER. General Orthopedic Call with Orthopedic Hospitalist Referral Base of over 150 Primary Care Clinicians Dedicated OR Trauma Room Full Support Staff including APC’s with Surgical Residents and Medical Student Interaction Visa Sponsorship Available MD, DO or MBBS BC/BE in Orthopedics Completion of an accredited USA residency in orthopedic surgery, successful completion of which results in board eligibility New York Medical License (or eligibility to obtain) BLS Certification Required DEA Required Compensation Salary Range: $588,390 - $690,684 This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000 Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.
