Job Title: Outpatient Pulmonary Physician Location: Macon, Georgia (On-site Clinical Practice) Role Status: Full-Time Position (Local Part-Time Considered) Target Compensation: $400,000 – $500,000+ On-Target Earnings (OTE)

Practice Overview

This position is for a long-term clinical leader at a venture-backed, tech-enabled outpatient pulmonary practice founded in 2022. Supported by $19.5M in total funding, the practice integrates a proprietary technology platform with predictive clinical models and rich patient data to deliver proactive clinical care.

Clinical Environment & Care Architecture

• 100% Outpatient Care Model: Pure outpatient pulmonary care with zero ICU, zero critical care, and zero inpatient weekend call.
• Tech-Enabled Clinic: Equipped with predictive diagnostic tools, virtual care programs, and a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Outpatient Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality outpatient care, managing a patient volume of at least 20 patients per day.
• Clinical Supervision: Supervise 2 or more Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and lead clinic support staff.
• Clinical Research & Innovation: Participate in virtual care initiatives and earn additional revenue through integrated clinical trial participation.
• Community Engagement: Build and maintain active referral relationships with regional primary care networks.

Compensation Structure

• Total OTE: $400,000 – $500,000+.
• Revenue Breakdown: Includes 50% revenue share, 10% clinical trial revenue share, and 5% APP supervision share.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience & Credentials: 2+ years of experience as a Board-Certified Pulmonologist with a focus on outpatient medicine.
• Specialty Plus: Sleep Medicine board certification is a strong plus.
• Practice Alignment: Desire for a permanent outpatient model without hospitalist or critical care duties.
• Location: Local candidate or willing to genuinely relocate to Macon, GA (no locums or fly-in arrangements).
• Visa Sponsorship: Open to J-1 waiver and H-1B visa transfers

Pay Transparency Compensation varies based on location, experience, and performance. Some sites require disclosure of pay and benefits. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or incentives depending on business needs. The estimated Salary rate for this position is $400k-500k.
