Working overnight doesn't just come with exciting emergency cases; it comes with exceptional rewards. We recognize the value skilled technicians bring to our team, which is why we offer $25-$30/hour starting pay based on experience, plus a $5/hour overnight differential. In addition, qualified candidates may receive sign-on bonuses like:

• 1-5 years of technician experience: $5,000
• 5-10 years of technician experience: $7,500
• 10+ years of technician experience or ER experience: $10,000
• Up to $5,000 relocation assistance

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
• Advanced technical proficiency in digital radiography, ultrasound imaging, IDEXX lab equipment, anesthetic ventilation, endoscopy, CT, dialysis, and ventilation

We ask you have one of the following:

• Veterinary technology certification/licensure

OR

• Experience working in a veterinary practice or emergency veterinary medicine

Candidates available for overnight and weekend schedules will receive preference.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS OUR OVERNIGHT EMERGENCY VET TECH?

Your overnight shift will place you at the center of our emergency department, where you'll help ensure pets receive attentive, skilled care during urgent situations. You'll assess and triage incoming patients, assist veterinarians with diagnostics and treatments, administer IV therapies, provide wound care, manage feeding tubes, complete patient assessments, place catheters, collect laboratory samples, and assist with blood and plasma transfusions. Throughout your shift, you'll utilize advanced equipment including digital radiography systems, ultrasound, ventilation equipment, CT technology, endoscopy tools, dialysis equipment, and IDEXX laboratory systems while enhancing your capabilities in emergency and critical care medicine. You'll also run in-house diagnostics including CBCs, blood gas analysis, and cytology while helping pet owners understand treatment plans and discharge instructions through compassionate communication.
