This is a very exciting time for the Payments Technology Team as we transform how we operate within the Bank alongside the Payments Centre of Excellence and key suppliers such as Getnet, in order to transform our technical architecture and how we operate in order to meet evolving customer expectations and industry changes (such as ISO20022). You will help shape our organisation and develop our exceptional people to meet the constantly changing environment that we operate in as we drive radical transformation and simplification across our systems. THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE The Core Payments Technology Team is looking for a Payments Technology Project Manager based out of Milton Keynes. This role is a 12 month secondment/FTC. We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: You’ll be responsible for delivering E2E technology changes required to support Payments E2E customer journeys within Santander UK Supporting Payments Centre of Excellence colleagues and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions based on business needs, financial and functional analyses. Lead payments technology changes delivered by third parties outside of the scope of PagoNxt accountability Manage dependencies with other parts of Santander UK Technology (eg Digital channels, Financial Crime etc) and key third parties, enabling PagoNxt to deliver successfully Guides a team through the project by making sure the schedule, budget, and communications are aligned in order to hit the project’s goals. Professional Experience IT project management experience (Required) Experience and understanding of end to end payments flows applicable to the UK market (such as Faster Payments, ICS, BACS, Swift, CHAPS) (Required) Broad technology delivery experience with an understanding key technologies from mainframe to cloud, and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall (Required) Ability and experience of collaborating and managing dependencies across areas of the bank (Required) Experience working with key suppliers and managing budgets (Required) Key understanding of interdependencies across Santander UK technology teams (Required) It would also be nice for you to have: Experience with procurement and third-party management processes (Preferred) Experience and understanding of ISO20022 and end to end payment journey implications of using this (Preferred) Experience collaborating with Group suppliers (Preferred) Experience documenting IT demand analysis trends in a technical or business manner (Preferred) Hard skills Payments & Cards Domain Expertise Project & Delivery Management Risk, Regulatory knowledge / understanding Soft Skills Stakeholder Management & Influencing Communication & Collaboration Problem Solving & Adaptability WE VALUE YOUR IMPACT At Santander, your contribution matters. Salary Range: £59,200.00 - £88,800.00 per annum (depending on experience) This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
