Contingency Staffing has a Payroll and Benefits opportunity open with their Manufacturing client in Upstate New York. This position supports the weekly payroll for 600 plus employees in a union environment. Responsibilities: Assisting with the accurate and timely processing of a weekly payroll Data entry, timekeeping and managing deductions. Maintaining and updating employee records to ensure the accuracy for personal information and salary changes and generating payroll-related reports for management and audit purposes. Support responsibilities would include: processing employee enrollments changes and terminations for benefit programs Educating employees about FSA & HSA plan benefits, contribution limits, and eligible expenses. Assisting employees with 401K enrollment and account management. Qualifications: 5+ years payroll and benefits experience. Union experience a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred.
