At Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) , a company specialising in safety-critical software and engineering solutions, we're looking for a Performance & Resource Manager to join our on-site team in Hamburg, Germany, supporting long-term strategic projects with Airbus.

You'll play a key role in business performance monitoring, resource planning and continuous improvement, helping engineering and production teams make data-driven decisions and achieve operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Monitor business performance and KPIs, identifying trends, deviations and improvement opportunities.

• Analyse operational data, investigate root causes and provide actionable recommendations to management.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve performance and efficiency targets.

• Implement and maintain integrated performance management processes.

• Coordinate short- and medium-term resource planning to support operational needs.

• Calculate production headcount requirements and support workforce capacity planning.

• Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations to support strategic decisions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, resource allocation and overall performance.

What we're looking for

Essential requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.

• Professional experience in Performance Management, Controlling, Resource Planning or a similar analytical role.

• Knowledge of Python, SQL or Google Workspace, depending on the technical requirements of the position.

• English B2/C1 (mandatory).

• German B1/B2 (mandatory).

• European citizenship, where required by project eligibility criteria.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Knowledge of capacity planning, workforce forecasting or production controlling.

• Experience with process optimisation and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Advanced reporting, data visualisation or dashboard development skills.
