About UCVH: Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital (UCVH), an affiliate of North Country Healthcare, is a 16-bed critical access hospital serving 20 communities and 8,500 people in its service area which includes communities in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. UCVH provides over 4,000 emergency department visits, 325 outpatient surgeries, 300 inpatient admissions, 7,000 imaging studies, and 140,000 laboratory tests annually. Job Summary: The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic, neurological, complex-medical, and other diagnoses that affect a person’s strength, range of motion, endurance, and overall function. The Staff Physical Therapist will utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, and activities to achieve the highest level of function possible. Essential Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program and hold minimally a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Must hold a current and valid Physical Therapy practice license granted from the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professions. Additionally, if Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement in accordance with our standard travel policy.
