Rothman Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to partner with an established Sports Medicine Surgeon based in our Hamilton, NJ office. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven PA who enjoys a blend of surgical first-assist (2 days per week) and outpatient care (3 days per week) while working alongside one of the nation's leading orthopaedic practices. The position is primarily based in Hamilton and includes travel to our Bordentown and Pennington locations.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

• Evaluate and treat orthopaedic and postoperative patients in both office and hospital settings
• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and home health providers

Surgical Support

• Serve as a first assistant in Sports Medicine surgical procedures
• Participate in preoperative planning and postoperative patient management
• Assist with hospital rounds and inpatient care

Documentation & Care Coordination

• Complete patient documentation and clinical notes
• Assist with disability, workers' compensation, and medical necessity documentation
• Communicate with referring and consulting physicians regarding patient care

Practice Coverage

• Participate in call coverage rotations with fellow providers
• Support patient care across Hamilton, Bordentown, and Pennington locations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active New Jersey Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, Surgical, or First Assist experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
