Practicing to the full extent of their training and scope, the physician diagnoses, treats, and manages acute and chronic medical conditions, emphasizes preventive care, and coordinates specialty services when needed. Working as part of an interdisciplinary care team, the physician plays a critical role in improving access to high-quality healthcare for an underserved rural community, helping patients receive timely, comprehensive care close to home and reducing the need to travel outside the region for essential medical services. McKinleyville, CA Located in one of the largest communities in Humboldt County, McKinleyville offers a unique blend of rural and residential living with close proximity to coastal bluffs, the Mad River, and outdoor recreation.
