Ochsner LSU Health System Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport are seeking a General Surgical Pathologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of Pathology. The successful candidate must be Boarded in Anatomic Pathology and eligible for Louisiana licensure . Duties include maintaining excellence in specimen preparation and diagnostic accuracy; provide highest quality consultative services to our clinical colleagues, within our institution and elsewhere. Board certified in Anatomic Pathology/Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. The candidate will support and incorporate advanced diagnostic techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy; he/she will have service and teaching responsibilities. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified J1 and H1b waiver. Highlights of the Position: Physician leadership and input at all levels of administration. Emphasizes teaching and provides vitally important leadership and guidance to medical students and residents.
