Physician – Hem/Onc Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hem/Onc physician in Slidell, La . As such, Ochsner MD Anderson patients in southeastern Louisiana receive care based on the same protocols and practice standards provided at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas, and benefit from integration with its clinicians and researchers. Ochsner MD Anderson experts adhere to the philosophy, process and guidelines of MD Anderson’s clinical leadership, and they provide a full range of multidisciplinary care options, including medical oncology, surgery and radiation. Position Highlights : Joined by a 9-physician group and 4 APPs Call: Every 9-11 weeks during the weekend (Friday-Sunday) then during the week it is by phone only (5pm-8pm). No pediatrics Schedule: 36 hours of patient contact and 4 hours of indirect patient care. This will be an inpatient and outpatient practice. Dedicated support staff and team for the physician, patient, and their families.
