Outpatient practice with excellent work-life balance Flexible scheduling No hospital call Teaching, mentorship, and leadership opportunities Practice at : Eureka Community Health Center – Open Door Community Health Centers The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered outpatient care for a panel of patients across the lifespan in a rural Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting. Practicing to the full extent of their training and scope, the physician diagnoses, treats, and manages acute and chronic medical conditions, emphasizes preventive care, and coordinates specialty services when needed. Working as part of an interdisciplinary care team, the physician plays a critical role in improving access to high-quality healthcare for an underserved rural community, helping patients receive timely, comprehensive care close to home and reducing the need to travel outside the region for essential medical services. As the largest coastal city between San Francisco and Portland, Eureka serves as the region’s center for healthcare, commerce, and cultural life while maintaining a relaxed, small-town feel.
