Physician, Primary Care (Full Time, Float)

At NorthBay Health the Board Certified, Licensed Primary Care Physician will practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. This position is a Full Time Float FM/IM Physician to support our growth, expansion and coverage in Primary Care throughout the region. Location: Full time float, Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville, Napa or as needed throughout region Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only Call Ratio : Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Primary Responsibilities: Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Monitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary Represents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the group Collaborate and manage APPs MD or DO degree Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California Proven experience in a primary care setting Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Compensation and Perks: Income Guarantee : $330,000 (Years 1- 2) Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000 Relocation Assistance for qualified candidates up to $20,000 Retention Bonus : $30,000 (Years 3 - 5) CME/Dues up to $8,000 annually Production Incentive available Residency Stipend available to qualified candidates Quality Bonus up to $36,000 (Beginning Year 3) A positive work-life balance Collaborative and energized clinical teams
