Physics teacher, Middle school, IGCSE

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physics teacher for grade 6-10 to join an IGCSE school in Panaji, Goa. This role is ideal for someone who inspires young minds to explore the wonders of physics and develop a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Responsibilities:

Academic:

- Prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the IGCSE curriculum

- Focus on conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to foster curiosity and enthusiasm

- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Non-Academic:

- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and conferences

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and STEM initiatives

- Mentor students in science fairs, projects, and extracurricular activities

- Contribute to the development of the school's science program

Required Skillsets:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills

- Strong knowledge of IGCSE Physics curriculum and teaching methodologies

- Ability to engage, motivate, and challenge students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

- Familiarity with assessment and evaluation techniques

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Education, or a related field

- Teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed.,PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

- Prior experience teaching IGCSE Physics (desirable)
