Job Description
The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer operates in direct partnership with the Sales Division to drive growth and technical success for Motorola Solutions’ video security and access control portfolio. This role is responsible for solution architecture, technical consulting, product evaluations, and customer-facing technical presentations across local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Sales team to architect, design, and present tailored video security and access control solutions to enterprise clients, demystifying complex tech and showcasing why Motorola's offerings are preferred.
Serve as the technical subject matter expert during sales engagements, leading product evaluations, technical demonstrations, training sessions, and client presentations.
Maintain deep product knowledge across specific Motorola Solutions security lines to educate and empower sales representatives and external stakeholders.
Perform site surveys, technical audits, and offer on-site engineering support for tradeshows and industry events
Establish and maintain technical relationships with client accounts, channel partners, and key industry contacts.
Troubleshoot complex system integration issues to ensure successful presales verification and customer satisfaction.
Basic Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated pre-sales solution engineering experience within a corporate technology organization.
Good market knowledge of electronic access control and video surveillance systems.
Advanced knowledge of network engineering principles, communications protocols, and infrastructure.
Proficiency in physical security systems design, implementation, maintenance, and enterprise hardware configuration.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Native English fluency with professional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional team environments.
Strong cross-cultural communication skills, both oral and written, ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to simplify & clarify complex problems to a broad and diverse audience
Preferred Qualifications / Certifications & Competencies
University Degree or technical diploma in a technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 3 ~ 5 years experience working in a pre-sales capacity
Industry certifications in enterprise security, on-premise, and cloud-hosted video/access control solutions.
Technical certifications from vendor platforms such as Cisco, Microsoft, or cloud infrastructure providers.
Spoken & written fluency in English
