About the Role
Lead analog and mixed-signal design for advanced CMOS computing hardware at an AI-focused semiconductor company. You will work across IC design and systems teams to turn novel computing architectures into silicon and help guide upcoming chip designs.
What You'll Do
Design analog and mixed-signal blocks, including ADCs, PLLs, bandgaps, regulators, high-speed SerDes, oscillators, and dividers.
Own substantial parts of chip architecture and potentially lead design for an upcoming chip.
Perform hands-on layout and design verification, including DRC, ERC, and LVS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate computing concepts into practical silicon implementations.
Help test and validate fabricated chips using lab equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
What We're Looking For
6 to 20 years of analog and mixed-signal IC design experience, including work on PLLs, ADCs, or SerDes.
An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering focused on circuits or IC design.
Experience completing multiple tape-outs, including work with FinFET or 28nm/65nm CMOS processes.
Strong CMOS circuit design skills and proficiency with Cadence simulation, including PEX, Monte Carlo, and corner analysis.
Hands-on layout experience and a willingness to take on work beyond a narrow specialty in a startup environment.
Experience with tools or languages such as Python and C is relevant to the role.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $200,000 to $325,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid, with three days per week on-site in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
