Job Description: You’ll use your knowledge in Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) to shape and develop shore based IV&V capability and facilities for highly complex integrated systems within the SSN AUKUS Platform Complex Systems domain. You'll oversee the delivery of a Prototype and Integration capabilities and infrastructure for Platform Complex Systems. Establishing an infrastructure to enable successful design proving and integration for highly complex integrated systems and their interfaces to support both the Design Phase and Integration phase of the Systems Engineering V-Model. Core duties: Lead Platform Complex Systems IV&V Facility Projects establishing the IV&V requirements and with internal and external stakeholders Lead the establishment of PCS IV&V infrastructure Capabilities and Facilities You will apply your experience to develop off boat test infrastructure for Platform Complex Systems including third party interface testing Essential Skills: You hold a BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline or in Control & Instrumentation You will possess knowledge in the following areas: control systems, system integration and fieldbus technologies Experience in setting up common infrastructure for large projects Exposure to corporate lifecycle management frameworks would be beneficial The SSNA - Platform Complex Systems Team (PCS IV&V): The PCS IV&V team is a growing, high-impact engineering function delivering IV&V and system integration across the SSNA Platform Complex Systems programme. Working across disciplines, the team drives collaboration, resolves intricate tasks and shapes new capabilities—offering excellent development, cross-programme exposure and considerable support toward chartership.
