Principal Systems Architect - AI, Security, SOC

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of system architecture experience spanning SoC design, board-level hardware, and low-level software/firmware stacks.
- Proven track record delivering production-grade silicon or server platform programs in a server, data center, or semiconductor environment.
- Deep SoC knowledge: interconnects, memory hierarchies, and standard interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DRAM, USB).
- Hands-on board-level experience: schematic capture, lab bring-up, and use of oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Strong communication skills - comfortable writing detailed specs independently and presenting to sophisticated enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.

- Experience with OCP DC-SCM / DC-SCI standards and a network across hyperscaler and OEM partners.
- Deep hardware security background: cryptographic accelerators, HSM, TPM, side-channel attack mitigations
- BMC firmware architecture experience (OpenBMC) and familiarity with NVMe-MI, LTPI.
- Active participation in open infrastructure communities such as the Open Compute Project (OCP).
- Proficiency with Cadence OrCAD / Allegro; Python or Bash scripting in a Linux environment.
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related focus
What You'll Be Doing:
- Own and author comprehensive system architecture specifications, micro-architectural docs, and platform requirement documents that engineering teams ship from.
- Define hardware/software partition boundaries, register-level interfaces, and micro-architecture for high-security, AI-driven SoCs (AXI/AHB interconnects, PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, eSPI, I3C, LTPI).
- Serve as primary technical point of contact for enterprise and hyperscaler customers - translating next-generation platform security needs into concrete architectural decisions.
- Present our architecture roadmap and technical whitepapers to strategic partners and standards committees (OCP DC-SCM / DC-SCI).
- Guide hardware and SI/PI engineers on signal integrity, power delivery, and thermal constraints for modular server platforms.
- Specify secure boot flows, Root-of-Trust (RoT) architecture, and Platform Firmware Resiliency (PFR) frameworks.
- Collaborate with firmware teams on BMC stacks (OpenBMC), Linux kernel interfaces, device drivers, and management protocols (MCTP, PLDM, Redfish).
