Process Operator

Production never stands still. As a Process Operator, you make sure it keeps moving safely, efficiently and according to the right quality standards. You will work for a large international manufacturing company in the Breda region, where raw materials are transformed into high-quality products through a highly automated continuous production process.

In this role, you'll monitor the process, adjust machines and installations when necessary, and respond quickly when something does not go according to plan. It is a responsible role in a technical production environment where safety, teamwork and process control come together.

About the role

As a Process Operator, you are responsible for controlling and monitoring part of the production process. You work with automated production equipment and keep a close eye on process parameters, product quality and machine performance.

When deviations occur, you analyse what is happening and take the right action. Depending on your experience, you may operate different sections of the production line and gradually develop into a broader process operator role.

• Monitor and control the production process.
• Operate and adjust machines and process installations.
• Monitor process parameters and product quality.
• Identify deviations and take corrective action.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting.
• Carry out inspections and basic technical checks.
• Register production data and process information.
• Work closely with maintenance and technical colleagues.
• Contribute to process improvements and production efficiency.
• Work according to strict safety, quality and environmental procedures.

What are we looking for

We're looking for operators who understand that good production is about more than simply running a machine. You are technically curious, able to understand a process and comfortable taking responsibility when conditions change.

Experience in industries such as glass, chemicals, food, plastics, paper, steel, building materials, energy or other continuous production environments is particularly relevant.

• Technical or process-oriented education at EQF level 3 or 4.
• Experience as a Process Operator or Production Operator.
• Experience in an industrial or continuous production environment.
• Able to understand and adjust process parameters.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
• Safety-conscious and responsible way of working.
• Comfortable working in a structured production environment.
• Good command of English.
• Willing to work in a multi-shift system, 4 shifts.
• Willing and committed to relocate to the Netherlands.

A process-operator qualification such as VAPRO B/C, Process Technology or an equivalent international diploma is necessary.
