As a Procurement Partner, you'll gain a unique insight into the projects shaping the future of our region. Working across the entire organisation, you'll partner with stakeholders from a wide range of business areas, helping identify the best suppliers, contractors and procurement solutions to deliver community outcomes.

No two days are the same. From major infrastructure projects to strategic procurement initiatives, you'll build broad experience, develop specialist expertise and play a key role in driving best practice procurement across Council.

You'll Find Growth Through

• Managing end-to-end procurement and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with Council frameworks, policies and legislation.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value-for-money outcomes and support major projects across the organisation.
• Administering procurement systems, tender processes, vendor panels and contract registers while maintaining accurate records and governance practices
• Analysing procurement data, identifying trends and opportunities, and contributing to innovative procurement solutions that improve organisational performance.
• Developing your expertise through exposure to diverse projects, procurement strategy, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

What You'll Bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Legal, Accounting or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract practices, including purchasing, tendering and contract management.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies or best-practice solutions within a complex organisation.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  
  

We Would Also Love You To Have

(Desirable requirements)

• Knowledge of Local Government procurement legislation, regulations and requirements
• Experience administering procurement systems, vendor panel platform, contract registers or electronic records management systems.
• Experience ensuring procurement compliance and governance within a diverse organisational environment

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $100,399 to $116,679 plus superannuation.
