A world-leading appliance manufacturer is hiring a compliance engineer to own safety and regulatory approval for new product development. You'll work alongside the engineering team from pre-development onwards, making sure products meet the required safety standards before they reach the market.
This is an on-site role in coastal North Carolina. Relocation is required & supported.
What we're looking for
- Experience in regulatory compliance and product safety standards, ideally from a major certification agency or an in-house compliance team
- Experience in appliances or broader consumer products / manufacturing or other adjacent industries
- Ability to write test plans and assess product designs against safety standards
- Comfortable advising design engineers directly during pre-development
- Degree in engineering or a related technical field
