Product Designer (UX Focused)

Location: Dubai — Full Onsite

Engagement: Independent Contractor / Freelance

International candidates are welcome to apply, with preference given to candidates who are currently based in the UAE. Visa sponsorship will be provided for successful candidates; however, relocation expenses, including flights and accommodation, will not be covered.

Must-Have Requirements

• 4–8+ years of professional Product Design / UX/UI experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, from discovery/research through wireframing, prototyping, testing, and final UI.
• Mandatory: Previous experience designing banking, financial services, or fintech products.
• Strong UX-focused background, including user research, journey mapping, information architecture, interaction design, usability testing, and user-centered design.
• Experience designing complex web and mobile applications, particularly products involving financial workflows or transactions.
• Strong understanding of financial/banking user journeys, such as payments, accounts, cards, lending, loans, onboarding/KYC, or related workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma or equivalent design tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum product teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain and defend UX decisions to product, engineering, business, and compliance stakeholders.
