About the Opportunity:

The PRODUCT ENGINEER is responsible for enhancing the platform's user experience by identifying and resolving user friction points. This role involves end-to-end ownership of product improvements, from problem identification and prototyping through to implementation, launch, and iteration. The engineer will build both frontend and backend features that support onboarding, environment submission, review, and discovery workflows, contributing directly to how users interact with and understand reinforcement learning environments and related evaluation data.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user challenges and prioritize product improvements.
• Engage directly with users to gather insights on creating, testing, evaluating, and discovering reinforcement learning environments.
• Own the product improvement process from definition through to launch and iteration.
• Develop frontend and backend features for onboarding, environment submission, review, and discovery.
• Design user interfaces that clarify agent runs, evaluation results, reward signals, and quality feedback.
• Use qualitative user feedback and product data to refine user experiences and guide decision-making.

Requirements:

• Experience delivering software products end-to-end, from user research through implementation and iteration.
• Technical degree with experience in full-stack web application development, including frontend interfaces and backend services or APIs.
• Experience conducting user interviews and leveraging qualitative feedback and product data to improve products.
• Strong skills in interaction design and product judgment, particularly for complex technical workflows.
• Background in developer tools, data-rich products, marketplaces, or products serving multiple user groups.
• Familiarity with AI agents, evaluations, reinforcement learning, training data, or review and debugging workflows involving quality feedback.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary range: $100,000 to $225,000 annually.
• Visa sponsorship is available.
