Product Engineer, Applied AI (Mid-Senior)

About the Role

Join the product engineering team at a Series A/B workforce technology company, applying AI agents and frontier models to a staffing marketplace for industrial operations. You will build reliable automation across the product while taking on the highest-priority engineering challenges, from AI features to payments and platform work.

What You'll Do

• Apply existing agents and frontier models across worker, business, and operations products to automate vetting, matching, and fulfillment.

• Lead frontend and backend development, mentor engineers, and build scalable systems, APIs, and real-time matching capabilities.

• Own product features end to end, from API design and user experience through deployment.

• Partner with product, design, and technical leadership on architecture and roadmap decisions.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of engineering experience building and owning products or features at fast-growing startups, with measurable business impact.

• Experience building early-stage agentic AI products and applying language models in production.

• Working knowledge of TypeScript, React or React Native, Node.js, and/or PostgreSQL.

• A degree in computer science or a related technical field, with strong software engineering fundamentals.

• Ability to move across frontend, backend, and infrastructure and deliver reliable, scalable applications.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $140,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
