Product Engineer (Mid-Senior)

About the Role

Join the product engineering team at a Series A/B industrial AI marketplace company. You will apply AI agents and frontier models across a staffing marketplace, building reliable automation for sourcing, vetting, matching, and placing workers. The role spans product engineering across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with priorities guided by the highest-impact business needs.

What You'll Do

• Integrate existing agents and frontier models into worker, business, and operations products to automate marketplace workflows.

• Own product features end to end, from API design and user experience through deployment.

• Build and improve systems for real-time matching, vetting pipelines, distributed workflows, and APIs.

• Partner with product, design, operations, and engineering leadership to shape architecture and roadmap.

• Lead projects, move quickly through ambiguity, and mentor other engineers.

What We're Looking For

• Three or more years of software engineering experience owning product features, ideally on early-stage teams.

• Experience shipping scalable products with tangible user or business impact, and delivering at high velocity across functions.

• Strong experience with TypeScript, React or React Native, Node.js, and/or PostgreSQL.

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agents into production products, including prompt design and tool integration.

• Product judgment and interest in solving user problems across a multi-sided marketplace or operational industry.

• A computer science or other technical degree, strong fundamentals, and evidence of independent, scrappy work.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $140,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site, five days per week in New York, United States.
