Product Line Manager IIICMP SBU FSO Focal

Role Purpose

Supports CMP service operations performance across the region while serving as the FSO focal point for CMP field product support and execution. Drives cross-functional execution across service contracts, equipment performance, supply chain, quality, cost, field readiness, and customer escalations to deliver operating plan commitments and improve customer experience.

Core Operational Responsibilities

  • Serve as the FSO focal point for CMP field product support, operational execution, and alignment.

  • Matrix-influence FSO, SBU/PLM, Sales, SAMs, SPO, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and TPS to achieve regional business and service objectives.

  • Drive execution of regional CMP service priorities and maintain alignment between customer needs, field requirements, and business objectives.

  • Identify execution gaps and drive corrective actions through closure.

Service Contract & Financial Performance

  • Track and drive CMP service contract KPIs, including Uptime, Availability, service quality, and cost performance.

  • Review material consumption, labor performance, and service events to identify opportunities for margin and cost improvement.

  • Drive actions to improve service contract performance and reduce recurring operational losses.

  • Support service agreement execution and performance reviews for strategic CMP customers.

Field Escalation, Reliability & Product Support

  • Lead high-level Service CMP customer and field escalations, ensuring clear ownership, priorities, and closure plans.

  • Partner with Engineering, SBU/PLM, TPS, and FSO teams to address recurring equipment and service issues.

  • Drive implementation and proliferation of corrective actions and field solutions.

  • Support reliability improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime and recurring service events.

Repair, Refurbishment & Supply Chain

  • Drive CMP repair and refurbishment programs with Engineering and Supply Chain, including qualification and field adoption.

  • Support opportunities to improve parts utilization, repair capability, and service cost.

  • Work with regional teams to address critical parts shortages and supply-chain-related field escalations.

  • Support development and execution of new service and cost-reduction programs.

Field Readiness, SAR & Service Solutions

  • Ensure CMP field teams have the required technical readiness, maintenance capability, documentation, parts, and support infrastructure for service contract execution.

  • Support Service Agreement Readiness (SAR) for new and existing contract opportunities.

  • Ensure new products, features, and service solutions have appropriate field readiness before broader deployment.

Leadership & Communication

  • Communicate CMP operational performance, key risks, customer escalations, and recovery plans to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving regional and global CMP organizations.

  • Establish clear ownership and accountability for critical actions.

  • Drive alignment between FSO execution and CMP business/service strategy.

  • Represent FSO requirements and field perspectives in cross-functional business and technical discussions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

  • 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, services, analytics, or softwareenabled products

  • CMP experience is strongly preferred (process, hardware, consumables, or service)

  • Strong understanding of analytics, diagnostics, and equipment health monitoring concepts

  • Ability to translate complex CMP technical topics into clear customer and executive messaging

  • Proven experience leading complex, crossfunctional programs

  • Strong stakeholder influence skills; comfortable driving alignment without direct authority

  • Highly organized with strong execution discipline and accountability

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
