The Value-Based Platform (VBP) team plays a key role in shaping and delivering solutions that advance aspects of value-based care within Risant Health Organizations (RHOs). The portfolio of solutions drives outcomes – total cost of care reduction, clinical quality improvement, better experiences, health equity and simplicity – to achieve business and financial objectives.
The Product Manager, VBP Implementation & Support, leads contextualization, deployment, adoption, ongoing support, and continuous improvement of VBP healthcare solutions that address market needs, align with enterprise capabilities, and drive measurable gains in cost, quality, experience, and value-based care outcomes. Serving as the bridge between product strategy, project execution, operational adoption, and post-deployment success, the Product Manager, VBP Implementation & Support, ensures each solution is delivered on time and within scope, adopted effectively, monitored for performance, and continuously optimized to deliver lasting value. This role leads cross-functional teams and guides internal and external resources through influence rather than direct authority.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration with a healthcare focus, Healthcare Data Analytics, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in product management or related roles
- Product Delivery, Implementation & Adoption: Lead planning, deployment, operationalization, and adoption of VBP solutions. Develop implementation plans, coordinate go-live activities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful transition to operations.

- Solution Management, Monitoring & Optimization: Own ongoing performance monitoring of deployed solutions, identify and resolve operational issues, maintain documentation and playbooks, support releases and enhancements, and drive continuous improvement.
- (Primary for Solution Management-focused roles.)
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships across clinical, technical, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Serve as the central point for approvals, escalations, and cross-functional coordination during implementation. Ensure solutions meet the needs of RHOs and integrate effectively into their operations. Provide guidance and support to product owners and analysts.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead project managers, analysts, technical resources, support teams, and operational stakeholders. Provide direction, remove blockers, and ensure accountability across teams.
- Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) related to cost, quality, experience, adoption, and value realization. Translate findings into actionable improvement opportunities and financial synergies.
- Risk, Resource & Change Management: Identify and mitigate risks, manage competing priorities and resources, support change management activities, and track budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration with a healthcare focus, Healthcare Data Analytics, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in product management or related roles
- Product Implementation & Management: Proven ability to execute product strategies to deploy and deliver impactful healthcare solutions. Experienced in overseeing cross-functional implementations and leading cross-functional teams, including customer-facing teams, to drive change management and adoption around new ways of working.
- Process Improvement & Systems Thinking: Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking to understand how people, processes, technology, and data interact across the end-to-end implementation lifecycle. Ability to translate complex, interdependent processes into clear, repeatable implementation models that support consistency, quality, and value realization.
- Value-Based Care Fundamentals: Strong understanding of value-based care principles, including care model design, clinical integration, cost and quality metrics, and strategies that drive improved patient outcomes and financial performance.
- Execution Management & Delivery Excellence: Proven ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent implementations in a fast‑paced, evolving environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivery quality through strong organizational and decision‑making. Comfortable prioritizing competing demands, shifting timelines, and evolving requirements without losing focus on strategic objectives.
- OKR and KPI Tracking and Analysis: Experience setting, monitoring, and analyzing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product impact, inform decision-making, and guide continuous improvement efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field preferred.
- Experience in healthcare organizations or exposure to healthcare organizations is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams for project or product delivery. Leading through influence, direct reports not required
- Certifications in product management or Agile methodologies (e.g., APM, PO/PM, SAFE).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities.
Experience collaborating with inter-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
Passion for innovation and enhancing customer experiences, particularly in healthcare settings within multi-payer and multi-provider ecosystems.
Exposure to healthcare operations and clinical workflows, with an understanding of how solutions are implemented and adopted in provider settings.
- Agile & Project Management Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices, with hands-on proficiency in tools like Jira, Figma, Mural, Miro, and Confluence
- Demonstrated experience managing customer engagements and stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated track record of identifying and resolving operational issues.
- Proven ability to own the ongoing performance, monitoring, and support of deployed solutions.
- Experience with cross-functional implementations and customer-facing teams to drive change management and adoption.
- Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking across the end-to-end implementation and support lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of value-based care principles.
Additional Information:
Compensation and Benefits: The projected base salary for this position ranges from $143,040 $178,800 depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including wellness programs, retirement savings, and relocation support as applicable.
