THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
The Everyday Banking Savings team in Retail Banking is looking for a Product Proposition Manager based out of Milton Keynes (other Head Office locations may be accommodated). This is on a Fixed term contract for 12 months.
It’s a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing opportunities to shape and deliver some of the most strategic priorities of the Bank, so it’s a great time to join and make a difference.
The role will be focused on supporting risk oversight within the Savings Product team, but there will also be opportunities to work across the different product disciplines. These include management of customer propositions, change initiatives and strategies related to savings accounts. It is a role that requires a clear focus on risk whilst balancing wider customer, commercial and regulatory considerations.

- Product team risk management oversight, including working with Line 1 risk to evolve the team risk management framework
- Managing product Ongoing reviews and Fair Value Assessments, strategies and initiatives, leading where required
- Ensure regulatory compliance and execute robust risk identification, reporting and management
- Significant collaboration with stakeholders across the bank, agreeing clear ownership of actions and tracking through to completion
- Drive key initiatives through to delivery, facilitate working groups, prepare reports and present to senior management and meetings, as appropriate
- Analyse product, market, risk and economic data to inform business decisions
- Manage budget, project funding requirements and business case approval
- Make decisions within the limits of established policies and procedural guidelines escalating where appropriate

Professional Experience
• Product Management experience (Preferred)
• Risk Management or Governance experience (Required)
• Financial services experience (Required)
• Experience of prioritisation and change/project delivery (Required)
• People management experience (Preferred)
Education
- A degree-level qualification or beyond (Preferred)
Hard Skills
- Regulatory expertise relevant to personal savings e.g. FCA rules, Consumer Duty (Preferred)
Soft Skills
- Communication and influencing skills with strong stakeholder management at all levels. Supported by commercial understanding and ability to analyse information and data. (Required)
- Being able to translate commercial, market and customer analysis/ research into insight and business cases that are clear and compelling. (Required)

Salary Range:
£52,459.00 - £78,689.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
