Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Control Planner - I to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and execute production schedules for assigned product lines to achieve maximum customer satisfaction levels and “on-time” shipments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities Develops and maintains master schedules and order releases required to support customer requirements for assigned product lines. Reviews machine capacity, maintenance requirements, and schedules to determine if production plans for assigned product lines are achievable. Monitors status of purchase parts and communicates any changes to purchasing department. Works with Purchasing to secure purchase parts needed to meet production schedules. Provides shipping dates for short lead orders based on material availability and production capacity. Determines and maintains required Kanban card levels within the production system to meet production schedules and inventory targets. The salary range for this position is $40,500 - $62,500 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled. Requirements Your Background High School Diploma or GED, plus 2 to 4 years of progressive manufacturing experience. Associate's Degree in Business or a related discipline, Experience with computerized material requirements planning, and Access and Crystal Reports skills are preferred.
