Salary: $120,000–$130,000 + Bonus
Relocation Assistance: Up to $8,000 in eligible expenses

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to help lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at a production facility in Miami, Florida.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will provide hands-on leadership across production operations with a strong focus on labor efficiency, production output, cycle efficiency, setup and changeover reduction, material utilization, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate has significant manufacturing leadership experience in a press-based or plastics-related production environment and understands how to improve productivity while controlling labor, material waste, regrind, changeovers, and other operating costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in directing and supervising daily plant production operations.
- Develop and execute action plans to achieve production targets and operating objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop production managers, supervisors, leads, and hourly employees.
- Participate directly in hiring, training, performance management, and workforce development.
- Allocate labor and other resources to maximize plant productivity and efficiency.
- Establish and monitor measurable goals for labor reduction and product efficiency.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, constraints, waste, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive improvements involving setup reduction, cycle efficiency, color changes/purging, regrind utilization, reclaim, and material waste.
- Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operating procedures.
- Partner with Quality Control to ensure finished products consistently meet specifications.
- Work with production teams to improve output while controlling manufacturing costs.
- Oversee implementation and adherence to written procedures, production layouts, and Product Information Centers (PICs) at presses and processes.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and corrective guidance when necessary.
- Ensure production leadership responds effectively to employee concerns and maintains a productive work environment.
- Monitor production output, product quality, plant organization, and on-time shipping performance.
- Establish and regularly review departmental and plant KPIs.
- Prepare and present plant performance scorecards to upper management.
- Track key measures including labor reduction, setup reduction, cycle efficiency, color purge/changeovers, regrind/reclaim utilization, safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, productivity, supply management, people management, and plant operations.
Qualifications
- Significant production leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing production operations, labor, productivity, quality, safety, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Strong background in continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Experience identifying and reducing manufacturing waste, downtime, inefficient setups, and production constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to lead managers, supervisors, team leads, and production employees.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, labor utilization, quality requirements, and plant performance metrics.
- Experience working in a plastics, press-based, molding, or similar high-volume manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with regrind/reclaim, color changes, setup reduction, cycle-time improvement, or similar plastics manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Base Salary: $120,000–$130,000
