Location: Washington State (limited relocation assistance available) Experience Level: Mid-Level (5-8 years of experience) Experience Required: 7+ years in production, with at least 3 years in a managerial role Education Level: Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience Industry: Oil & Energy (Renewable Energy) Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible Job Summary: A leading renewable energy company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the safe and efficient production of high-quality solar panels. This position involves managing all production processes, staff, and scheduling to achieve production targets. The Production Manager will collaborate closely with Maintenance, Quality, and other teams to ensure operational excellence and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all production processes and teams within the Washington operations. Supervise and support production supervisors, ensuring that daily, monthly, and yearly production goals are met. Plan, execute, and adjust the production schedule as necessary. Conduct performance reviews and coach team members to enhance overall team competency. Allocate human and material resources to meet production targets and manage equipment use, maintenance, and procurement. Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures, with a focus on health, safety, and quality. Monitor product quality standards and implement quality control programs. Analyze production and quality control data to identify areas for improvement. Prepare and maintain production reports and estimates, manage budgets, and implement cost control measures. Collaborate with other departments, including Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, and Logistics. Track KPIs, focusing on metrics like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and labor hours per unit. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. At least 7 years of production experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of production management, process improvement, budgeting, and production standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP software. Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills. Understanding of health and safety regulations and quality standards. Ability to work flexible or rotating shifts as needed. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years as a production manager in a manufacturing environment. Experience with production planning, controls, and instrumentation. Benefits: Competitive salary, DOE.
