- Complete production and quality checklists and gather all required paperwork at the end of the shift.
- Monitor process steps, equipment, control points and staffing to maximise productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure employees follow GMP and food safety practices.
- Train new employees and cross-train team members across production activities.
- Confirm machinery is set up correctly before start-up and that work areas remain clean and organised.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience supervising, coaching or coordinating production employees.
• HACCP training and strong working knowledge of GMP and food safety requirements.
• Knowledge of quality systems, allergens, chemical control, sanitation, corrective and preventive action, pest control and physical-contamination prevention.
• Experience with production machinery, maintenance coordination, shipping and receiving, and accurate operational reporting.
• Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a busy manufacturing shift, develop a production team and make a visible contribution to safety, quality and continuous improvement. The role offers salary $60,000-65,000 plus benefits. The company will provide support for TN Visa for Mexican or Canadian Nationals.
