Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the “jewel” of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary
This position will communicate Continuous Improvement System (CIS) principles in support of Materials'Operations. The position will train others on how to utilize standardized work, workload balancing, job elementsheets, practical problem solving, process improvement dialogue, and waste elimination methods using thestandardized Simulated Work Environment (SWE) approach. Position will develop value stream maps thateliminate non-value added waste and compression of cycle times.
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates working knowledge and experience in Materials' Operation. Ability to drive results with amoderate level of guidance and direction.
- Impacts quality of their own work through training of others and the work of others on their team.
- Solves Materials' Operation problems by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgmentwith a moderate level of guidance and direction.
- Provides informal guidance to new Materials' Operation team members and impacts the work of otherswithin the group.
- Effectively communicates complex information involving Materials' Operation to others.

Required
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Materials' Operation and key business drivers such as project management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a group and/or team and provide guidance to new teammembers.
- Proven track record of utilizing Toyota Production System (TPS), Kaizen, and Just-In-Time (JIT).
- Experience in Continuous Improvement System (CIS) and ability to teach others about using tools withinthe Continuous Improvement System.
- Travel required up to 10%.
The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
