Position: MEP Project Manager (Client side opportunity)

Vallum Associates are partnered with one of the largest Data Centres Developers operating internationally, that are currently going through a huge hypergrowth across Finland.

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works across large-scale hyperscale Data Centre projects, managing multidisciplinary construction delivery from initial installation through to commissioning and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full MEP construction scope, including electrical infrastructure, mechanical systems, HVAC, cooling, power distribution and associated building services.
• Oversee project delivery from construction and installation through to testing, commissioning and handover.
• Lead and coordinate MEP contractors, subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage construction programmes, budgets, project milestones, risks and contractor performance.
• Coordinate MEP activities with CSA teams, design consultants and wider project stakeholders.
• Oversee critical infrastructure installations, including HV/MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems and BMS.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, technical specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical challenges and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager, M&E Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager or Electrical Project Manager on major construction projects.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, ideally across both disciplines.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects through the full construction lifecycle.
• Data Centre or mission-critical construction experience.
• Strong contractor management, project planning, commercial awareness and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Finland and work on-site Monday to Friday.
