Cinergie Digital is hiring a Project Manager (Innovation & Emerging Technology) to own end-to-end delivery of a proof-of-concept (POC) pipeline for AI and emerging-technology initiatives within a large enterprise IT function. The role runs the full cycle: intake and prioritisation, sprint-based execution, vendor coordination, stakeholder demos, and graduating successful POCs into funded production programmes, with direct accountability for fund utilisation and KPI reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own intake, qualification and prioritisation of POC requests across business and IT.

• Run sprint cadences for POC execution alongside architecture and engineering teams.

• Coordinate vendors and partners on POCs: scope, commercials, access and deliverables.

• Prepare and run stakeholder demos and quarterly reviews with clear go/no-go recommendations.

• Manage graduation of successful POCs into business-funded implementation through a formal business-case and stage-gate process, with clean handover to delivery teams.

• Track fund utilisation and report KPIs: throughput, graduation rate and cost per POC.

• Maintain delivery governance: RAID logs, decision records, dependencies and reporting.

Required Technical Skills

• Agile/Scrum delivery management for short-cycle, experimental work with moving scope.

• Stakeholder management across business and IT, including executive demos and reviews.

• Vendor and partner coordination: scoping, onboarding, commercials and performance.

• POC-to-production handover experience through a stage-gate or formal business-case process.

• Exposure to AI/ML or emerging-technology programmes (e.g. generative AI, automation, data platforms), enough to challenge scope, feasibility and vendor claims.

• Governance and reporting: budget tracking, KPI dashboards and quarterly reporting.

Candidate Profile

• 5–8 years in project or technical programme management, with part of it on innovation, R&D or emerging-technology portfolios rather than pure BAU delivery.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast kill/scale decisions; treats POCs as experiments with defined success criteria, not projects to finish at any cost

• Strong communicator: executive briefings, demos and decision-ready reporting.

• PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum certification an advantage; degree in a technical discipline.
