Project Manager IT & A/V About us At ONEXP we specialise in audio, video, information technology and communication technology for superyachts and ultra-luxury residences. We offer a unique and bespoke suite of solutions and services within this field, incorporating advisory, project realisation, support, and product development. Currently we work on- and have delivered - some of the worlds most prestigious projects both at sea and on land with breathtaking designs and outstanding results that exceed the expectations of some of the most demanding clients who are not easily baffled. At our HQ, which is based in the famous Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam, we have various teams such as our support teams, development teams, and our Project Management team. This is also the venue where we prepare and test our solutions. Within our international Project Management team, we currently are looking for a Project Manager IT & A/V to join our ranks. Who you are Managing multiple IT & A/V projects on scope, budget and time is something you thrive on. You achieve this by combining strong stakeholder management with excellent Project Management skills. At the start of a project, you will assemble your project team that consists of various external and internal stakeholders. Think of the owner representatives or yard project managers as external stakeholders and the IT teams, A/V teams and our Finance team as your internal stakeholders. You will manage all the relevant stakeholders during the projects in order to deliver the projects within time and budget, always trying to exceed the scope of the project in order to deliver a seven-star experience. You enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously as the projects we work on vary tremendously: our larger projects take 3-4 years whilst our smaller projects take between 3-9 months. You have the more formal Project Management tools in your toolbox. We use the IPMA-C framework that we have customised to fit our industry. In our field of work our clients are looking for seven-star service which means that sometimes you can plan all you want, however the reality can easily influence the scope of your projects. You are able to deal with these changes in way that respects the interests of all your stakeholders. What we expect We expect you to relate to our Core Values: Ownership, No-Nonsense, and Excellence. Next to that, you bring multiple years experience in managing full-cycle IT (infrastructure) projects, preferably with A/V components. If you don't have the A/V experience yet, you at least have an above average affinity with our industry. We have a proven track record of navigating new colleagues through our field of work. You bring the attitude; we help you to become successful. As our projects are delivered worldwide, international travel is expected in roles for about 20% of your time, sometimes on an ad-hoc basis. Your English language and communication skills are excellent due to the nature of our work. As we are an IT & A/V integrator, our teams work very closely together. The majority of your stakeholders work from the Van NelleFabriek in Rotterdam. Working remote is not an option for this role.
