On behalf of one of our established clients, a leading infrastructure firm based in a prime West African location, we are seeking an experienced Marine Project Manager for an expatriate role (single status).

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end management of a major marine/port infrastructure EPC project (Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
Direct leadership of multidisciplinary site teams, specialist marine subcontractors, and suppliers.
Primary client interface with the Employer, Engineer, Port Authority, and senior government representatives.
Full control over project scheduling (Primavera P6), commercial budget, cash flow, and cost-to-complete management.
Comprehensive contract administration under FIDIC/EPC terms, including variations, claims, and extensions of time (EOT).
Championing site-wide HSE compliance, marine safety protocols, and QA/QC standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

Education: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
Overall Experience: Minimum 10–20 years in major civil/infrastructure construction.
Marine Expertise: At least 5–10 years directly focused on marine, port, quay wall, jetty, or harbour construction.
Project Management: 5–7+ years as a Project Manager / Project Director (not strictly a Construction Manager).
Project Scale: Proven track record managing at least one major marine EPC project valued at US$50M+ (US$75M–100M+ preferred).
Contracts & Tools: Solid working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and Primavera P6.
Languages: Excellent written and spoken English.
Profile: A hands-on, decisive, commercially aware leader with strong site discipline.

Strong Advantages:

Direct experience with quay walls (gravity/blockwork, combi-wall, or major marine retaining structures).
Strong practical understanding of capital dredging, marine plant, and land reclamation.
Experience executing works inside a live operational port.
Prior international / developing-market experience (West Africa/Ghana experience is a major plus).
