Protection and Control Engineer

Protection & Control (P&C) Engineer – Northeast Atlanta, GA

Required:

• 7+ years of substation protection & control engineering experience with PE License OR 9+ years of experience without PE License.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related engineering discipline required.
• Design protection and control schemes for high-voltage transmission and distribution substations, including protective relaying and control systems.
• Develop and review engineering drawing packages, including wiring diagrams, schematics, one-lines, three-lines, and relay protection panel designs.
• Experience with relay protection equipment selection, battery sizing, panel load calculations, and voltage drop calculations.
• Familiarity with industry standards and engineering software, including ETAP, WinIGS, and applicable IEEE standards preferred.
• Opportunity to serve as Lead Engineer, mentor junior engineers, coordinate with clients and vendors, and support substation project execution.
