About the Role Exciting opportunities exist for a skilled clinician to join either the Early Psychosis Team Infant, Child & Youth Mental Health Wellbeing Services Adult Community Mental Health Team Mental Health Advice and Response Services Our multidisciplinary professionals are from an array of backgrounds and disciplines and work across a range of settings and services including: Adult Mental Health Community Mental Health Acute Adult Inpatient Unit - Aged Persons Mental Health Child and Youth Mental Health Who Were Looking For Psychologists must have current psychology registration with the Psychology Board of Australia Sound knowledge of principles and practice of psychiatric care Demonstrates competence in completion of a comprehensive assessment of consumers suffering mental illness including mental state examination and risk assessment Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to liaise and negotiate with other staff and agencies Evidence of ability to work with consumers in a family, gender, culture and diversity sensitive manner A sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act (Vic) 2024.
