We are looking for a motivated QA/QC Engineer to carry out inspections, monitor quality standards, and maintain documentation to ensure our projects meet technical specifications and quality requirements.

Your Role

• Implement company ISO 9001 standards and the project quality plan.
• Inspect work areas prior to issuing inspection requests, ensuring readiness.
• Perform incoming material inspections and verify compliance with approved submittals and manufacturer requirements.
• Inspect ELV control panels, control cabinets, equipment racks, structured cabling, fibre installations, terminations, labelling, and equipment installation throughout all stages.
• Verify workmanship against approved shop drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, rack layouts, and project specifications.
• Ensure panel assembly, rack staging, and FAT activities comply with approved Method Statements, ITPs, and quality procedures.
• Conduct and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), functional testing, and pre-commissioning activities with internal teams, clients, and consultants where required.
• Maintain complete inspection records, FAT reports, checklists, test reports, and quality documentation to ensure full traceability.
• Raise, investigate, monitor, and close NCRs and observations, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Issue periodic quality reports, inspection status, KPIs, and quality metrics to management.
• Prepare progressive handover documentation, manufacturing records, and quality dossiers.
• Coach technicians and production teams on workmanship standards, inspection requirements, and defect prevention.
• Apply technical expertise across ELV systems to deliver high-quality manufacturing and installation outcomes.
• Conduct inspections and witness tests with consultants and clients.
• Update benchmarking procedures and maintain benchmark standards with the QA/QC Manager.
• Check and manage the method statement implementation process on site.
• Manage ITPs, checklists, and inspection records to full traceability.
• Update Goalkeeper QA/QC efficiency schedules.
• Compile progressive handover documentation and test packs.
• Coach site teams on quality requirements and common defect prevention.
• Apply technical expertise and discipline-specific knowledge to deliver high-quality outcomes within your area of specialisation.

What We’re Looking For

• QA/QC experience in ELV systems panel assembly, installation, or data centre projects.
• Experience with ELV panel inspections, rack integration, structured cabling, and FAT processes.
• QA/QC on MEP construction projects
• Ability to interpret ELV drawings, wiring schematics, technical specifications, and manufacturer documentation.
• ITP, inspection, and test record management
• Specification and standard interpretation
• NCR and root-cause processes
• ISO 9001 working knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience in data centres, prefabricated modules, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of ELV systems including BMS, EMS, Security (ACS, CCTV), GRMS, ICT, AV, Fire Alarm, Lighting Control, and Structured Cabling.
• Digital QA field tools (Aconex, Cx Alloy etc)
• Auditor training

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC experience within the construction industry.
