The company operates a manufacturing site of approximately 140 employees in Monostorapáti, Veszprém County, Hungary and provides relocation support if required.
About the Role
In order to further strengthen and develop its Hungarian manufacturing operations, we are looking for an experienced professional for the following position:
Quality Coordinator | Quality Management | Manufacturing Quality | Continuous Improvement
This is an independent quality coordination role with broad responsibility for maintaining and continuously improving quality standards within the manufacturing operation.
The position is ideal for an experienced quality professional who is comfortable taking ownership of quality-related processes and working closely with production, technical functions and international corporate partners.
Responsibilities
- Operating and continuously improving the company’s quality management processes and systems
- Monitoring, analysing and improving manufacturing quality processes and relevant KPIs
- Preparing for and supporting internal and external quality audits
- Ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards and corporate requirements
- Conducting root cause analyses and coordinating corrective and preventive actions
- Identifying quality deviations and supporting effective and sustainable problem resolution
- Applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Why and Ishikawa
- Supporting continuous improvement and Lean initiatives within the manufacturing environment
- Working closely with production and other technical functions to improve process stability and quality performance
- Coordinating quality-related activities across relevant internal functions
- Cooperating with certification bodies and international corporate partners on quality-related topics
- Contributing to the continuous development of a strong quality-focused culture throughout the organisation
Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management or another related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience within a manufacturing company, preferably in a quality-related role
- Experience in automotive, metal manufacturing, mechanical engineering or a similar industrial manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001
- Practical experience with quality management systems, audits and continuous improvement
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, including 5 Why and Ishikawa
- Experience in KPI management and performance monitoring
- Lean mindset and a strong understanding of process improvement
- Confident use of quality management tools and ERP systems
- Structured, independent, process-oriented and solution-focused way of working
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to cooperate effectively with manufacturing teams as well as international stakeholders
Required Skills
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, are essential
- English language knowledge is an advantage
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on and solution-oriented approach to quality management in a manufacturing environment
