Our client manufactures and trades connectors, electromechanical components, and metal products used in the automotive industry, television and audio technology, as well as specialized tools, technological equipment, semi-finished products, and other specialized items.
As a leader in automation and robotics in manufacturing, the company has its own R&D and Production Engineering departments, designing, developing, and assembling automated equipment and production lines used in high-volume manufacturing.
In connection with an open position, the company is looking to hire an experienced, analytical, and quality-focused:
QUALITY ENGINEER, AUTOMOTIVE
Role Overview
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and production processes comply with customer requirements, internal quality standards, and applicable industry and regulatory requirements. The role includes the investigation and resolution of customer complaints, preparation and coordination of 8D reports, management of quality documentation, analysis of production quality data, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions in close cooperation with production, engineering, logistics, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Track, investigate, and analyze customer complaints and quality notifications, ensuring that each case is handled in accordance with internal procedures;
• Coordinate all stages of the 8D problem-solving process and maintain clear and timely communication with customers;
• Prepare 8D reports, root cause analyses, corrective action plans, and follow-up documentation;
• Perform operational activities related to newly received and open customer complaints and ensure timely closure of agreed actions;
• Analyse production quality performance, defects, rejects, rework, and customer complaints, and report consolidated results on a regular basis;
• Support the investigation of defective products identified during serial production and participate in the definition of containment and corrective actions;
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that products comply with customer, regulatory, and company standards;
• Maintain and control quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, control plans, records, and other documents used by the Quality Department;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement sustainable process and product improvements;
• Participate in internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits, including preparation, follow-up, and closure of findings;
• Maintain accurate records of quality issues, improvement initiatives, corrective and preventive actions, and compliance audits;
• Propose and support improvements to quality controls, production processes, documentation, and reporting systems;
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field;
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or a similar position within a manufacturing environment;
• Good knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes;
• Practical experience with 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Ishikawa diagrams, Pareto analysis, CAPA, and problem-solving methods;
• Experience in handling customer complaints and preparing structured quality reports;
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, product specifications, control plans, and production documentation;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach;
• Excellent written and spoken English, including professional communication with customers and international colleagues;
• Very good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with production, engineering, logistics, suppliers, and customers;
• High level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail.
Would Be Considered an Advantage
• Experience in the automotive industry or another high-volume manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and automotive quality requirements such as IATF 16949;
• Experience with internal, customer, supplier, or certification audits;
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans;
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system;
• Experience with production processes such as stamping, injection moulding, connector assembly, or automated manufacturing.

Working Schedule
