Quality, HSE and Logistics Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing UAE-based company serving the oil and gas industry. The company is strengthening its quality, HSE, ISO compliance and international logistics capabilities.

This role combines responsibility for developing and maintaining integrated management systems with hands-on coordination of inbound and outbound logistics.

• Review existing policies, procedures, registers and records against relevant ISO and QHSE requirements.
• Update existing documentation and create missing elements required for effective, audit-ready management systems.
• Design and implement practical processes that support ongoing compliance and operational efficiency.
• Conduct gap analyses, internal audits and readiness assessments, and oversee corrective actions through to closure.
• Coordinate external auditors and certification bodies and lead the company through relevant ISO certification processes.
• Maintain ongoing compliance through process supervision, periodic audits, management reporting and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate international sea and air shipments, freight forwarders, customs clearance, shipping documentation and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier and logistics-provider performance and identify potential delays, compliance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Use data, digital tools and appropriate AI applications to improve reporting and workflows while protecting confidential information.

The initial scope will include:

• ISO 9001 for quality management.
• ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety.
• ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, intellectual property and engineering information.
• ISO 56001 for innovation-management-system requirements, supported by ISO 56002 guidance.

The company may subsequently explore ISO 30414 for human-capital reporting and ISO 22301 for business continuity and organisational resilience.

The precise certification roadmap and sequence will be agreed with company leadership based on business priorities and organisational readiness.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, occupational health and safety, supply chain, logistics or a related discipline.
• Practical experience developing, implementing, auditing or maintaining an ISO-aligned management system.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience with audits, gap analyses, nonconformities and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with integrated management systems and the ability to interpret standards and translate them into practical processes.
• Experience in or exposure to logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or import and export documentation.
• Strong organisational, documentation and stakeholder-coordination skills.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Candidates are not expected to be experts in every listed standard. However, they must demonstrate strong management-system capability, the ability to learn and the judgement to coordinate specialist support when required.

• Oil and gas or industrial experience.
• ISO lead auditor or lead implementer qualification.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 or ISO/IEC 27001.
• Experience coordinating external certification audits.
• Familiarity with innovation management, business continuity or human-capital reporting.
• Knowledge of dangerous-goods shipments or project cargo.
• Arabic-language skills.
• Responsible use of AI tools.
