Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

We are seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care, education, and care transitions within a collaborative healthcare setting. The RN will support professional nursing practice across various care environments, following the Mayo Nursing Care Model, and will take on leadership roles such as precepting, mentoring, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and family education.
• Support transitions of care and ensure effective communication across teams.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, acuity, and resource availability.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and mentor colleagues.
• Participate in committees or projects to improve care quality.
  
  

Qualifications Include

• Graduation from a registered nursing program; Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred for certain start dates.
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Optional but preferred: 1 year hospital RN experience, ED experience.
  
  

This role is eligible for TN visa sponsorship, requiring state licensure and VisaScreen completion. The position is full-time with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, holiday rotation, and every third weekend. Compensation varies based on union contract, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, savings plans, and retirement options.
