Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care within the professional practice model.
• Provide leadership through precepting, informal/formal leadership, and quality improvement activities.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, and resource availability.
• Support professional nursing practice across various settings and care continuum.
• Mentor, teach, and participate in committees or projects; may be required to drive personal vehicle for role-related duties.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• Preferred: One year of RN experience or one year of LPN experience at the organization.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills; prior EMR experience preferred.
• Current RN license; BLS competency required (specific to location).
• Ability to work flexible hours, adapt to unpredictable situations, and demonstrate leadership qualities.
  
  

Additional Details: This nonexempt role offers competitive compensation starting at $36.78/hour, benefits, and part-time schedule with 12-hour day/night shifts, including every third weekend/holiday.
