Located on the University of Canberra campus, UCH is a modern 140-bed facility providing inpatient rehabilitation, aged care rehabilitation, mental health rehabilitation, and a range of outpatient and community-based rehabilitation services. As the After-Hours Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be a visible and influential clinical leader, providing coordination and operational oversight across all wards after hours. This dynamic role is central to ensuring safe, high-quality patient care, supporting staff, facilitating patient flow, and responding to clinical priorities across the hospital. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, provide expert clinical guidance, and maintain accountability for clinical practice and patient outcomes. An integral member of the Hospital Emergency Response Officer (HERO) team, you will play a key role in the hospital’s first medical response, helping to ensure timely and effective management of patient deterioration and other urgent clinical situations.
